Revised Version of Draft Compliance Clauses for Article 3ma of Regulation (EU) No. 833/2014 Published

    Energy LEAP is pleased to publish additional draft compliance clauses in response to EU implementation of an import ban on refined products (CN code 2710) obtained from Russian origin crude oil (CN code 2709) as reflected in Article 3ma of Regulation (EU) No. 833/2014 and the published FAQs. 

    The clause has been updated following amendments to the EU Commission’s FAQ document (“Import Ban on Refined Products Obtained from Russian Crude Oil” of the Commission Consolidated FAQs on the implementation of Council Regulation No 833/2014 and Council Regulation No 269/2014”) on 15 June 2026 in respect of segregated refineries, including a form of attestation.

    The working group will continue to monitor and adjust the necessary wording in light of any additional information which arises, and welcomes any feedback encountered in the use of these clauses.
